Research and Development

Our Shandong Lingong Technology Development Center is a national-level research institute specializing in the R&D of loaders, excavators, road rollers, and other construction machineries. This facility consists of three branches, namely the Technology Department, Manufacturing Department and Information Standards Department.

Our Technology Department’s research center employs 350 engineering technicians, including 72 senior engineers and 143 normal engineers; all of whom hold at least a Bachelor’s degree. Focused on introducing functional software and developing new products, these personnel have gradually integrated capabilities for 3-D design, kinematics analysis and finite base analysis. Having digital design facilities, our engineers use CAD/CAE/CAM technology for product simulation testing.

Meanwhile, we also have staff responsible for implementing marketing systems, ensuring quality standards are maintained, providing clients with after-sales service and technical support, and collating buyer feedback. Copyright-protected computer software has been developed to aid in these functions, including programs for matching machineries, testing loader capabilities and running automatic production. We now own dozens of patents for our models’ designs and machineries.

Apart from our own technical staff, we are also cooperating with experts from the prestigious Tsinghua University and Dalian Science and Engineering University. Furthermore, many personnel have been sent back to college for advanced study, in addition to being seconded to overseas associates to undergo refresher courses and training.
